I am nominated for the prestigious Prince of Asturias Award as the first Slovenian ambassador at the initiative of the ambassador of Spain, Mrs. Fernandez de Cordova.
I am very proud of this nomination and I want to compete with pride and dignity with other nominees.

I know that expecting to win is something outside the standard, but what would we be if we only followed the predictable? Is it not more exciting this way? I am convinced that such a path is the right one.

Courage and good will is the best.

That’s not all … We signed a contract with Slovenian Ski Association, which is positive and it will allow us to work freely towards the top. I am happy and I hope that sufficient funds will also be gathered for our other best athletes.
