While I’m waiting for a delayed plane to get back to Geneva, I’m taking a few minutes to share with you my first impressions on skis this year.
Indeed, it was my first ski camp of the 2012-2013 season. It took place in Wittenburg, Germany (near Hamburg).

Of course, it was indoor skiing. We chose not to go on the glaciers this year because the conditions are not always that good. But on the indoor slope in Germany, we had hard snow and great training sessions for a start. I worked a lot on my slalom skiing and did a few GS turns as well.

I had pretty good feelings on a compact and icy snow. It was a very nice sensation to be on snow again after a few weeks in the gym. We do all this weight lifting and other stuff to be ready for this ! So it feels good.

After 5 days of training on snow, I’m back in France for 3 weeks.
We will be continuing the physical work to be strong and ready for our big summer camps in Ushuaia, Argentina (from 27.07 to 15.08 and from 8.09 to 3.10)

Summer is passing by so quickly… ! Have a good one.

Cheers

Tessa
